Clocks fall back
Most Americans and Canadians will set their clocks back one hour to standard time from 2am (02:00) to 1am (01:00) local time on the first Sunday in November, which in 2012 is November 4.
The clock changes will affect many cities in US’s nine standard time zones and Canada’s six time zones. Some parts of the USA, including Hawaii and Arizona and some regions of Canada do not observe DST.
Find the best time to call across time zones
Most parts of the USA and Canada will spring forward and start DST on Sunday, March 10, 2013.
