Good Friday 2025 in Montenegro

Many Christians around the world observe Good Friday on the Friday before Easter Sunday. It commemorates Jesus Christ’s Passion, crucifixion, and death, which is told in the Christian Bible. It is the day after Maundy Thursday.

Is Good Friday a Public Holiday?

Good Friday is an optional holiday. Employment and holiday laws in Montenegro allow employees to choose a limited number of holidays from a list of optional holidays. Some employees may choose to take the day off on this day, however, most offices and businesses remain open.
