The next lunar eclipse will be on March 14, 2025.

It will be a spectacular total lunar eclipse where the Earth's umbra, the darkest part of its shadow, completely covers the Moon. Because a totally eclipsed Moon is usually colored red, total lunar eclipses are also called Blood Moons.

A lunar eclipse can be seen from all locations on the night side of Earth.

This eclipse will be visible in Columbus. It will begin at 11:57:28 pm local time when the Earth's shadow will begin covering the lunar surface. The eclipse will be over at 6:00:09 am.

Check out the local weather forecast to find out if you will have clear skies to view the eclipse!
